My download is being blocked by anti-virus software

Most anti-virus software scans your Internet traffic for malware. If malware (or false positive) is detected, the entire domain is placed on a blacklist, which is also used by all other users of your anti-virus software. The fact that your download is blocked does not mean that your files contain malware, it just means that some other user has downloaded an infected file. But your anti-virus software is now also blocking your download, as we use the same domain for downloads for all users. Normally, you can simply bypass this block. To do this, you can add the affected domain to your personal whitelist. As the menu navigation differs for all programs, we are unfortunately unable to provide instructions for every software, but you can read the exact procedure in the manual for your anti-virus software. In general, we also recommend contacting the support of the software manufacturer so that the domain can be removed from the blacklist. Once you have found your whitelist or allowlist, you can add *.energycdn.com as an exception. If this does not work because the program does not accept wildcard domains, add the full domains of your download link as an exception.

Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes blocks your download with the message ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. In addition, the following popup is opened by the software.

Make a note of the domain that is displayed in the pop-up. Click on Manage Exclusions, click on Add item in the window that opens and select Website. You can now enter the domain you noted earlier as an exception. img02.png Unfortunately, wildcards are not accepted by Malwarebytes, so you may have to repeat these steps for future downloads. Please note that the unblocking of the domain may take a short time.
