I cannot authenticate in programs and tools

For security reasons, you can only use your personal account password to log in to your account on our website. For all other purposes (e.g. jDownloader, Kodi-Addons, VPN, etc.) you need your customer id and your API key (or just your API key). You can find both in your account overview. Please note that there are also other authentication methods. More information can be found here.
