How do I upgrade my premium membership plan with automatic renewal?

Currently, you can only change your premium plan (e.g. upgrade from monthly to annual payment) for subscriptions that were paid for by credit card via our Lemon Squeezy payment gateway. If you wish to do so, you can easily do so by clicking the ‘Manage Membership’ button in your account area. When you upgrade your subscription, you don't buy the package in addition; instead, your existing subscription is upgraded to the higher plan with immediate effect. The remaining balance that you have already paid (minus the time already used) will be deducted from the cost of the new package. Please note that a downgrade is not possible, i.e. you can only upgrade to a package with a longer term.

Unfortunately, upgrades are not possible for technical reasons when paying with other payment gateways or PayPal. In this case, unfortunately, only the current membership can be cancelled and a new one taken out when the old one has expired.
