How to pair an app with Premiumize.me

There are currently three different ways to pair external programs, addons or apps with Premiumize.me. Which method is used is usually decided by the developer, but also the type of program.

Method 1: Login using customer id and API key

The app will ask you to enter your customer id and API key. Both can be found in your account area. It is also possible that apps only ask for the API key. This authentication method is currently being used by VPN, Usenet, SFTP/FTP and jDownloader, among others.

Method 2: Authorization via "Login with Premiumize.me"

The app will show a button or link to authorize with your Premiumize.me account. Usually a dialog or your browser will open. You have to login into your Premiumize.me account and click on the authenticate button you will see. The app is now connected to your Premiumize.me account. This authentication method is currently being used by the Premiumize.me app for Android, among others.

Method 3: Authorization with paring code

The app will show a short, time sensitive pairing code. You need to open a browser on any device (your smartphone, notebook, whatever), login into your Premiumize.me account and enter the code on this site. The app is then connected with your Premiumize.me account. This authentication method is currently being used by our official Premiumize.me TV app for Android TV/Fire TV and several addons for Kodi, among others. The code/screen looks like this (this is a screenshot from our Premiumize.me TV app):

Revoke access

When using method 1 (customer id and API key) you cannot revoke the access for a single app. You have to renew your API key to revoke access for all apps using this authentication method. When using method 2 or 3 (button or pairing code) you can manage the access on this site. You can revoke the access for single apps.
